The garage hadn’t been fully swept and organized in a month so these are the fruits.
Learned a little too much painting these lower panels with white epoxy primer, so when that’s dry they are getting refinished.
Its really time to get/ make some stands
A small fortune in paint supplies
Pulled everything outside, then a half-assed attempt to wash away the bodywork dust .
looks like rubble
looks like a garage
The Z is going to be an oem white after all because the local paint shop was able to make it happen.

I can smell the PPG omni from here. That car is going to kick so much ass.

I’ve gone smell-blind to most of that stuff but Omni is a notoriously stinky product.

Well that’s good, I like to see them in OEM paint.

The 280s need a bumper backdate kit to get rid of the park benches, my 240Z bumpers won’t fend off a lot but at least they look good.

It’s always a surprise to see a newly painted one, most have faded and you just get used to it. M y old orange was nothing like my new paint, pretty intense! My friend had buffed out the paint as best he could in the first pic and then after painting later.

Very nice! Always good to clean up. I’m looking forward to seeing how it comes out in paint.
For the floor, I recommend a cheap
floor squeegee from Lowes or equivalent, sweep it normally then get out the hose and squeegee and be amazed how clean the floor is w
ith relatively little work.
